Job Responsibilities:
As a Junior Accountant at Aankona, you will be responsible for:

- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Expense Reporting: Prepare and manage expense reports and ensure all expenditures are recorded accurately.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry tasks related to financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Tax Preparation Support: Support the tax preparation process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Accountant and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Daily Updates: Provide daily updates to the Senior Accountant on financial activities and status.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
